HOW DO I WIRE TWO 3-WAY SWITCHES TO ONE LIGHT ON A 120V SYSTEM?
WHEN I TRIED TO MAKE A WIRING DIAGRAM, IT LOOKED LIKE I NEEDED 2 WIRES TO BRING POWER TO THE FIRST SWITCH, AND 2 WIRES TO GO FROM THIS FIRST SWITCH TO THE LIGHT. THATS 4 WIRES, AND THE SWITCH ONLY HAS 3 POLES. ARE ANY OF THE POLES USED FOR TWO WIRES?

hello SALC,
heres 2 links to sites that deal with 3 way switches after looking at them if u still have / feel free to post.

im must warn you that 1 of these sites has some outdated info. you cant use the white wire to carry power if there is a colored wire avalabel.
