I recently put sticky-tack stuff on the walls of my apartment to decorate. I have tried to take it off by scraping, but i'm ruining the stucco. I need a way to either remove the tacky stuff or cover it, and cheaply.

If it's stucco, just add to the texture with joint compound over the sticky tacky stuff. You'll have to paint though. Don C.

To take off your sticky stuff, you will need to use something with an alcohol base. Even rubbing alcohol. Look for a glue remover at your store. They usually come in bottles.

Try using WD-40 on the sticky stuff. It is a good general purpose solvent.
