We just had some work done in our bathroom, including the installation of new mirrors. This morning, we noticed a few small scratches on one of the mirrors. Anything we can do about them?

Thanks in advance.

As a general rule, If you run your finger nail over the scratch and it grabs the scratch, then it is to deep to buff out as the amount of buffing required to remove a scratch that deep will distort the view in certain applications such as mirrors and windshields. For larger plate glass buffing can be succesful with deeper scratches. If it is less, you might try calling a glass company in your area to remove the scratches with a specific buffing compound and buffing wheel made just to remove scratches. It is doubtful that you would be able to remove any scratches buffing by hand.
