We have a small winding brick walkway in our front yard that is under constant attack by small weeds and grass, growing in the spaces between the bricks. We spend a lot of time every few weeks pulling out these pests by hand. Is there anything we can spread out there that will keep the weeds and grass from growing and the walkway looking neat?

Kill the present weeds with Roundup. It's a relatively benign weed killer; it will serve to kill the roots of grasses so they can't come back if parts are left behind. Its very effective on weeds, but will take about 1 week to show its effect.
Then, sprinkle a pre-emergent herbicide such as Preen on the walk - this will kill all new plants as they sprout. It will not harm established adjacent plants. How long it lasts depends on the rain in your area - you may need to apply a second time in one season.
