We're in a house built in 1968. Some of the Pella double hung windows have sash cords that have snapped. (Requiring that we prop the windows open.) No doubt Pella sells some sort of replacement part. Any ideas?

I've replaced these only once and I remember that it was not easy. When you get the parts from Pella make sure they give you detailed installation instructions.
