I know that there are a number of ways to cut a bottle and make a vase out of it. Does anybody know of any method of cutting a bottle in two halves from the neck to the base. It is important that a clean cut would be achieved. I know that it is possible to cut the bottle in this manner using a diamond tipped blade but in using this method the edges of the cut half bottles can be very rough. Is there a special diamond blade I should be using. I would welcome ideas on the most efficient and economical way to split the bottle in the manner I describe.
