Glass and Mirrors - Repairing double pain seal?

Many of our windows have seals that must be bad. There is mosture between the two pieces of glass. How can I repair this, if possible? I have a feeling I know the answer. And if not repairable, How do you find the manufacturers name or logo on it?

Sounds like you need to replace windows. You can't repair this yourself. The manufacturer's logo should be in corners of windows or on frame. Most windows have 10-year or 20-year warranty. Good Luck!

Hi Bexar, yes you will have to replace the glass that the seals have gone on, but you do not need to go back to the original manafacturer unless they are still under warenty, if they are not under warenty then you can go to any glass company and get a rep to come out to measure for replacement glass, get them to quote you first so you know what cost is involved, get several quotes as prices can vary form company to company, also do not measure and order them yourself because if you make a mistake you have to foot the bill for the replacement unit if you get it wrong, if they make a mistake they have to replace it free of charge, also look at replacing the glass with a low E or similar as this will reduce heating cost as well but only if your replacing all the units in one window and all windows in the same room, I hope this helps a little, Handyman.
