I have just installed 3/4" ash flooring in the kitchen. My mistake was not scheduling a
finisher, now they are all booked 6-8weeks out. Can I install the new abinets/applkiances over the unfinished floor, then get a finisher in asap to finished the
exposed flooring? Sounds risky, otherwise I am in the doghouse for 2 more months

I would go ahead and install the cabinets and appliances possibly with the exception of the refrigerator ( it will have to be moved to finish the floor under it). I would put down cardboard or a good heavy dropcloth to prevent dirt and grime from being ground into the new floor. Floor finishers work around this all the time. Plus, if some dings happen, the finisher can get them out
