I have laid laminate wood flooring in a few rooms in my house, and I am about to do my bathroom. I have put a quadrant piece over the gap around the outside of the rooms before, but what should I use around the base of the toilet? The toilet pedestal is rounded and the quadrant has a square edge, so I cannot imagine it would look very good. Anybody got any ideas?

The word here is custom- to start with they recommend not to install this product in areas of moisture (bathroom, comodes etc... But the chore is done, my advise is to use a jig saw and custom cut a few pieces to fit and use a similar colored caulk to fill in the gaps. Hope I've have helped ya.

Hi Gail,
I recently had ceramic tiles installed in my bathroom. My son had laminate flooring installed in his and in both cases the toilet was lifted and the flooring installed underneath it. No complicated cuts to work with and the result is nice and neat. If you're going with laminate make sure it's a really good product that can be used in bathrooms.
