I wish to redo my wood floors in my home. I'm wondering what the steps are. What I'm thinking now, is to rent a sander and an edger and sand the floors. Then, after cleaning them...putting polyurethane over top. I don't want to stain the floors...I want to keep them with the natural coloring. I heard about "refinishing wood floors." I heard that it is easier and less messy. What is the difference? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
