I recently put in new carpet in the family room. It is a low pile nylon in a medium green. I need to put some type of door mat by the patio door. There is a lot of traffic in and out of the door since the door opens to the deck. Currently I have a small rubber backed area rug there but it is constantly shifting and it doesn't do the job. What can I put in front of the door that will keep the dirt off the new rug, not slide all over the place, not harm the rug underneath and look nice? Thanks for any help.

Glue velcro under the corners of the rug to stop it from creeping.
