This is going to be difficult to explain without a diagram but I will try. I
presently have a DSS system connected to my VCR and TV. I am using both AV
outputs of the DSS and running one to the #1 input on the TV along with the
S-video connector. The second output goes to the AV input on my VCR. The VCR
has AV output connected to #2 input on TV. The RF coax cable comes into the
house and goes to the 'antenna IN' on DSS. DSS 'antenna out' then goes to
'Antenna in' on VCR. VCR 'antenna out' then goes to TV RF input. This all
works great. Now, I want to introduce an extra VCR and a wireless security
camera receiver into the mix. The camera receiver has AV outputs as well as
RF. I plan to take the camera AV outputs and feed the new VCR's AV input
with them. I then plan to connect the RF antenna out connector of the new
VCR to the TV's RF input. (disconnect current RF connection at TV RF input)
This will allow me to record the security camera feeds and monitor via TV
(RF) input of the TV. I plan on connecting the RF antenna out of the old VCR
to the RF in on the new VCR and the RF out of the new VCR to the RF in on
TV. Will this work? Also I want to split the cable going into the RF
connector on the back of the TV and run one lead to the upstairs TV. That
way I will still be able to view upstairs as well as monitor cameras by
switching the new VCR to the AV input via a remote control IR extender. THis
way I should be able to view the same upstairs as down right? Please help.
Sorry so long.

You sound like you have it by the tail. Try it... If it doesn't work then we'll give it some more thought. I drew out what you have described and it looks ok to me. The only problem I can see is the signal degredation to the TV upstairs. A 3 or 4 dB signal amp may be needed. Much more could overlaod the front end of the TV. Where do you live? Beruit? :)
