Hi,
Do you know anything about these receivers, in my words, getting lost, and not remembering where the satelites are set. Have to pull the din cord and move the dish by touching a pin with a screwdriver to the metal shield. When using the correct method to move the dish, control keys, the receiver gets lost and the dish stops where ever it wants or it does a *2 which means an actuator problem. The actuator is fine. Was replaced, as was the arm.

Servo circuit has failed. By you using a screwdriver to actuate the circuit you are going to cause more damage. Find a repair shop or send it to the manufacturer for repair. Unfortunately this is not something you can do. Unless of course your an electronics tech and have the schematic for the unit test equipment etc. To be brutally honest, you may as well replace it. I will almost bet it's going to cost as much to repair as to replace. Throw away society mate.
