I have a general electric oven model #XL44 with electronic ignition. when i turn the gas knob the oven and broiler doesn't turn on. it used to turn on once in a while now it doesn't turn on at all. can you help! thank you. kathy.

Is the glow bad comming on for the broil or is the glow bar dead??

Comming on but no heat is often a bad ignitor glow bar - cannot get hot enough to open the gas valve.

NOT comming on glow bar - cracked glow bar, broke nwire, gas valve, clock/control.
