My Oven will not ignite- the pilot light is still lit however the flame will not jump to start the oven when the thermostat is turned on. It was working the previous evening. The stovetop is working fine.

Hi:mac984
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by jump? What doesn't jump? The pilot flame or the burner flame?
The pilot is on and the burner will not light but the gas is coming out? You smell gas when the oven turns on?
Does the oven turn on at all? What happens when the oven is turned on? Do you usually see another larger pilot flame turn on before the burner turns on?
Please provide a more detailed explanation so I can offer you more help.
Thanks,
TomBartco
