my kitchen tile is 5+ years old and the grout
isn't the same color it use to be, What's the best way to clean grout and seal it w/o paying a professional tons of $$ to do it.

I'll bet a penny that the color is darker in the traffic areas and ok in the areas close to the walls!
You can re-color your grout but, know this if you choose a light color you can seal it "till the cows come home" and it will darken up in the traffic areas. The only way to keep a light color from doing that is shoes off at the door and clean it daily from day one.
And even then you may find that it gets darker in the traffic areas.
