I have found several "how to's" on installing ceramic tile, but limited resources on marble tile. I would like to install marble in my foyer (5'x6') that currently has vinyl tile over concrete slab. Any/all information or a website would be a great help.

Lets see...."how2books" or "sometimes" or "helpful" or "askthetileman". Betcha they're all the same guy!

The truth is BDStewart the best place to start for reading literature is the public library. There are two ways to install marble & stone. The mud set method is the best way (and most difficult) or you could install it like a standard ceramic tile. I would never install it this way.

here is a url you can try for more www information:

Good Luck :)
