My fireplace is made of slab marble and one corner broke off, probably hit by the vacuum cleaner. Which adhesive can I use to adhere marble to marble? I have tried Epoxy and that did not hold for long. Thanks Susan Neely

Susan,
Marble cements are available at stone supplies. Some may be available at home centers. From your message I think the corner needs to be pinned and cemented in place. Pinning would be likely if the corner is unsupported, and is best left to a pro.
The type of cement (epoxy, polyester resin + marble dust, and others) depends on the break. Your best resource would be a stone supply.

Thanks so much for your answer.....Susan
P.S. Yes, it is unsupported. I will have to search yellow pages for a pro to repair with a pin. Thanks again for your advice.
