Emphasis on patching the old hole. What is the process for covering up the hole left behind when I move the round 6 inch take-off on my 12x12 extended plenum? Cant seem to find any similar threads.

If you removed the old take off for re-use just screw a piece of sheet metal over the hole and tape the seams with aluminum tape. If the old take off is still in place you can buy a cap for it.
