Hello,

My Troy Bilt Snow Thrower (model 42000) has given me many years of service, but this year needed it's carburetor rebuilt (Tecumseh engine model HSSK50 67323N). I rebuilt it yesterday, but didn't mark and can't remember which hole in the butterfly throttle plate and which hole in the governor arm the solid governor link is connected. Please refer to the http://members.localnet.com/~fluxus/CARBURETOR.jpg photo for the (A,B,C) and (1,2,3) options. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Gary

B on the throttle plate and most likely 2 on the gov arm will work best. If as you say "machone has given you MANY years" of service, if you look closely at the 3 holes on the governor one will show signs of wear on the right side and possibly be a bit egg shaped.
