I bought the washer and used it lightly for 2 years and then kept it in storage for 3-4 years. I tried to hook it up the other day and it filled fine but would do nothing else. Not even a noise. I fiddled with the switch as much as I could without taking the top off. The switch appeared connected and "clicked" when manipulated, as if to be working. I'm not sure if that means it actually still works.
1. What would be the indication for nothing happening past filling up?
2. How do I get inside the cabinet for this model? Top Loading Model# 110.25842400
3. I'm not sure that just because the switch "clicks" that it works, or that a switch is necessary to start agitation.
HELP Please! Thanks.

1st Ck voltage at wall, It filled so don't think is problem. What switch did you try??? To open top take plactic pieces off side and there are 2 screws 1 on each side in lower front. Plastic peice will pop off it pulled at top or small screwdriver in slot in back and pop off. Wiring diagram is under there.
Tilt washer back against wall and wiggle wires to motor. Sometimes netural wire to motor will loose contact and have your problem.

I wiggled all the wires with no luck. Everything appears to be connected. ??

will the washer spin?
you are going to have to use the tech sheet wiring diagram and voltmeter to see where the problem is. could be water level switch, lid switch, bad connection somewhere etc
