We have an unfinished walk-out basement. The back wall has insulation covered by clear plastic. I have noticed some black spots on the insulation. Would that be mold or something else? The basement doesn't have any leaking, but I'm not sure what the humidity level is. Thanks!

Thanks. So what do we do after we remove all of the plastic and insulation? Only one wall has insulation, the one that faces the back of the house and isn't underground. On the outside that wall has vinyl siding.
