I am laying ceramic floor tile in a front room. The sides of the tiles are not straight, they are more of a smooth wavey look. Not one of the walls in the room is square and I need some advice on where to start laying and how to still make it look good. I thank you very much

There are good, basic books that include strategies for dealing with the inevitable, "no square corners in the whole house". The basic strategy involve using features (i.e. walls) which are most eye catching as your reference to run your tile parallel to then custom cut against the other wall(s). Agood basic book is Better Homes and Gardens, Tiling Projects.
