Sometimes Our Nuheat Mats do not heat up. I brought them recently. Can any one help me to fix this at home my self as I don't like calling technician frequently for simple things.

The system is essentially the same as baseboard heaters: thermostat/control and electric element (mat). So to debug is the same by using a multimeter. If you have one and know how to use it I can walk you through what to check, otherwise you'll need to call an electrician.

It Might be due to following Causes
Cause-1: Bad connection in junction box
Advise: Refer to instructions and reprogram
Cause-2: No voltage coming to control (line)
Advise: Call your electrician
Cause-3: No voltage coming out of control (load side)
Advise: Call your electrician - return thermostat to Place of purchase for replacement
Cause-4: Probe placed on mat wire
Advise: Call your tile setter to reposition probe
Cause-5: Probe in direct sunlight or under obstruction
Advise: Call your tile setter to reposition probe
Cause-6: Mat wire is damaged
Advise: Have electrician check for correct mat readings. If incorrect, contact nuheat mats (http://www.warmyourfloor.com) company
