converted to gas heat, used old oil tank pipe hole for the vent pipe..it is located in the stone foundation. The vent cover is a T vent..The problem is the wind blows the heat under the siding which makes the sill damp also ice forms on a large area of the house in winter.. I was wondering if a differant vent cover would help? It is a steam system.
