Hello all, I am looking at purchasing an acreage with a shop that is not finished inside and I would like to do so, the one thing I can't figure out is how would I drywall the trusses so I can insulate it when the trusses are on 4' centers , the walls are 2x6 on 2' centers , and the building is finished with tin.

You would install framing between your rafters (perpendicular to them), at a minimum of 24" oc, and use 5/8 sheetrock on ceilings. It would probably be a good idea to verify the weight rating of the trusses, since the bottom chord "may" not have been engineered with the weight of a ceiling in mind.

Go to a drywall supply company and ask about DWC. (direct wall channel) What you would want is 20 Gauge. These come in 12' lengths and you can screw them on the bottom chord of your existing framing. Be sure to get 20 gauge as 25 gauge isn't good for spanning 4'.
