I moved into my house 3 years ago that had an alarm system already installed. It is a safewatch pro 3000 with a ademco 6137b keypad. I never got the code for it so we never used it. One day I was just messing around with it and armed it. I couldn't remember the numbers i pushed and opened my door and the alarm went off. It was very loud. I unplugged it in the basement and unplugged the battery also and never gave it another thought. A couple of months ago my house was broken into so I got online and found out how to get the code to use the alarm but now when it goes off it isn't very loud anymore and I don't know why so I bought another keypad another ademco 6137b off of e-bay but I don't know how to program it to make it work with my system. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

Read the sticky titled "Alarm Forum FAQ (Please read before posting). It has the basic instructions for how to extract the installer code from the system to set a new master user code.
Your system is a modified Vista 20p. Websearch using the pharase "Vista 20p installer manual", you will need it.
Read through the archived posts on this forum and others like it. The Vista 20p and it's clones are a nearly daily topic.
