I just had an Amana AMV9 installed and need to hook up my Aprilaire 700. Does anyone know how it needs to be wired?

Also, the Amana AMV9 is a two stage gas furnace (fan runs on low all the time when the furnace / a/c does not kick on). Should the humidifier run when the furnace is on the low fan?

it can be wired to

w and c


and set humidity setting around comfort level

On the furnace board, there's HUM line voltage. Transformer get wired on this.


From transformer, you wire W/G and Cf on the humidistat.

Then from furnace t-stat hook up, wire R and C to R and C on humidistat.
