I have a 32 X 60 pool roof being redone. I'm confused by 12 oz. fiberglass vs. polycarbonate: Need to determine which is better for snow load bearing & chemical ( chlorine, altho. less than outdoor pool), moisture & mildew resistance. Second question: When originally built, redwood closure strips were used. construction people have only offered "foam" closure strips. I am deeply concerned about resistance of foam closure stips to sun & chemicals as well as mildew resistance. Does anyone know where this information can be obtained??
