I would like any tip on finding a company that can make up some laminated countertops that I will install myself. It seems like all the companies that are listed, when I google "laminate countertops" are companies that advertise laminate countertop installation. How do I go about finding a company that will make up the contertops but not install them. Will the Big box companies do this? I live in Cincinnati.

Let your fingers do the walking. Check the Cincy Yellow Pages under counter tops. I know there was a place on Spring Grove Ave that did it when we built our house.

:coffee:Pretty sure the B Box stores would make them up for you. Better make sure of your measurements !!! Have never used them but might want to google..."Get-A-Grip".... A bussines that refinishes your old counter tops, bath tubs/showers with a new tuff durable coating. Several color choices from $30 sq. ft. to $50 sq. ft....Would Save tearing out all that old stuff!! Any DIY's out there used them before??

Hi Cinci-Hal,

I'd suggest to avoid the coating solution
The coatings peel in no time. They have strong chemicals, and if you think that the countertops are in contact with food... the consequences can be bad for your health :(
