I am getting divorced. I have not lived in my house for 6 months. I have been paying half of the mortgage the whole time. Our divorce is not final. He keeps dragging things out. And of course I am paying my existing living expenses and half of the mortgage. He wants to keep the house. He won't go refinance nor will he list to sell. Does anyone know what I can do. I can't afford to keeping paying. I also have my kids (and dogs). We were living in a very affordable place but it sold and now will be moving (again) which will be very expensive. Any ideas?

No one can really give you any concrete advice on such an important matter.
You should get a lawyer to guide you through this.

And that's the kind of thing that gets put in the divorce papers and ordered by a judge so it is legally binding. I'm not a big fan of lawyers, but I have to agree with Greg; divorce is not a DIY event. :coffee:
