Can someone please help? My rangetop ignites just fine but the ignitor will not shut off. It continues to "click" while the flame cooks.
Is there a reasonably easy fix for this?
Thank you so much!

Very likely the switch that turns on the spark on one of the range burner valves is broken or shorted.
It could be a job to get into those valves and be able to identify the one that's bad, and another job to replace the valve once you get the replacement valve.
The valve probably isn't cheap either.
