I'm hoping somebody can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm replacing an Aprilaire Thermostat (Model 8348 Heat/Cool multistage non-programmable) with a White Rodgers 1F95-1277Programmable. I have a G40UH(X) series gas furnace with a heat pump and AUX heat back up if the heat pump isn't catching up.

The wires on the Aprilaire 8348 were hooked up as listed below:
Orange - O/B
Yellow - Y
Green - G
Red - R
White - W2
Black - C

On the White Rodgers I hooked it up as listed below. I thought it was working fine but waking up this morning I hear the system running and it's circling air but the screen is set at 70 and the room is 65. It's saying it's using the heat +2 (AUX heat) but it's been running for about an hour and no heat is circulating and warming up the house. I'm guessing the Orand or the Yellow are hooked up back wards as I had 2 options for both but everything else was pretty self explanatory.

Orange - O (had O and B options but I figured I had a 50/50 change and went with O)
Yellow - Y1 (had Y1 and Y2, again 50/50 shot, went with Y1)
Green - G
Red - RC (they had a jumper so I figured it didn't matter)
White - W2
Black - C

Any ideas? White Rodgers is a mess when it comes to Technical support so any help would be GREATLY appreciated! THANKS!

What make and model is your outdoor unit?

If you have a Rheem, Ruud, or Weatherking unit outside you will need to move your orange wire from O to B. Otherwise, you are wired okay.

You must configure your thermostat from the factory setting of MS 2, to heatpump.

Set menu reference number 1 to HP1.

What are you using for a fossil fuel kit?
If you do not have one, I recommend using the outdoor sensor for your new stat and reconfiguring this one.

The Outdoor unit is a Lennox, I've looked high and low and can't find a model number on it. If needed I can call the people that installed it but it's fairl new (3 years). Would it matter if I intraverted the Y1-Y2 or O-B? I basically switched from my origianl set up of Orange to O and moved it to B. And on the Y1 I moved it to Y2. I at least got heat this way. Or does the matter and the main thing to focus on is the setting in the program set-up in the thermostat? Right now it's warming, but just runs and doesn't really warm to the tempature it needs to.

Lennox uses the O terminal (energize reversing valve to cool)
You'd want to connect yellow to Y1.

Be sure to configure your stat for heatpump operation (1 = HP1)
