I am having the same problem with my Kohler powered Craftsman mower. Unhooked the volt gauge on the dash and the fuse didn't blow but still no start. re hooked the wires and the fuse blew again. Can anyone help?

I moved your post to a thread of its on. Please post the model and serial number of your tractor and the model and spec. number of the engine.
Clarify the problem with your tractor. I take it the problem is the main fuse blows. How and under what conditions did the problem start?
Does tractor have electric PTO for deck engagement?
