Is there much difference in wall mounts? Are the stands that h ave wall mounts built on the back any good. Do you have to get a mount to fit your particular brand flat panel. Mine is a 46 inch panasonic. Any ideas would be appreciatted.Thanks.

I like the stands with the wall mount on the back.Thats because my wife likes to move the furniture alot. That way I can leave everything hooked up and move the stand easily and no mounts or holes in the wall.Wall mounts are good too but they just don't work for my life style .

Most wall mounts are VESA standard.
ck your tv manual, and the mount you are interested in.

I know this seems like advertising, but it isn't: Use the "Mount Finder" feature on the Peerless website (http://www.peerlessmounts.com/) to get ideas and options available for your TV.

Once you know what you need, shop other manufacturers. Peerless is IMO one of the best, although they are higher priced.

On the same note, I believe that sanus has a mount finder as well. Again another reference to check out.
