Welcome to the forums!
Are these the overhead garage doors? or a service door?
A fauz painting wood grain technique is used to make non wood surfaces appear as wood. I wouldn't recomend this type of finish on the exterior because the elements will destroy the finish and it isn't something that can readily be touched up. It would be better to use a color [paint] that complements the rest of the exterior.

Many compainies that make exterior doors with a fiberglass woodgrain "skin" offer kits for staining. Consult the manufacturer of your door.
If information is not forthcoming, gel stains work best. Be advised, however, that most gel stains have little or no UV protection built in, so the color you choose may fade significantly over the years.
Final finish will be with an exterior poly with a UV inhibitor.
