Everything installed last night and appears to be functioning as expected. It seems when it kicks on from the sail-switch though, a LOT of water flows and runs out the drainage. As a test today when I left the house, I put a 5 gallon bucket and it filled half way in 9 hours! Is there a way to slow the stream of water that flows through the filter or is there a pad that will absorb more water than what is currently provided with the model? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Oh, and the humidistat was set for 40 most of today. I've turned it down since just to see if that slows it.

That is normal, for any bypass unit.. No way to "slow" this down with affecting the performace of the unit.
