OK I have 2 driveway lights 2 front door lights and a post light on one switch all have new flourescent bulbs. Have been working for 3 months. actual fixtures for 14 yrs. the post light went out. Changed and would not come on. removed fixture and wires read 118.3 volts took fixture to shop and plugged wires into plug and light came on. hooked all back up and didn,t work. took fixture off again. left bears wires have 118.3 took socket light and stripped ends wrapped around bare wires get 0 volts with incadescent, get 24.6 volts with flourescent but just flickers won't stay on. remove one side and reading goes back to 118.3. I am lost totally. by the way the other 4 lights on fine all the time. Help!:wall::wall:

Sorry, all posts that have a title starting with "Very confused" can only be answered on Thursdays. JK.

Can you tell us between which wires you got your voltage readings? Was it between black and white, black to bare otr green?

Check all connections and replace the wire nuts at the last good fixture before the bad one..

the two at driveway and post are all hooked together at junction box two working and wire to post is hot. Don't see how that will help. But will give it a chance. Be back in a few minutes.

Is the tab of the lamp holder corroded? Have you tried bending it up a bit? Using an analog not digital voltage tester what is the reading between shell and tab of lamp holder?
