Looking at some thermostat options.
Does anyone know if the FocusPro thermostats, specifically the TH6110D make a beep at every key press? If so, is there a way to turn off the beep?
Regards.

I went and looked at both owners, and installer manual, I see nothing there about beeping.. I've never heard of one beeping!
How old is it? has it done this since day one?

Must be the voice in my head then.....
OK, to clarify..... I don't own a FocusPro thermostat, yet.
I have LuxPro thermostats currently. I do not like them much. The key beep is wildly irritating and it looks like there is no way to turn it off :madhell: Also, the keys don't work so well. Get what ya pay for I guess :(
Just looking to see if anyone knows if the FocusPro thermostats beep when the keys are pressed. I don't want that beeping again.
thx

No, they don't beep! So go for it.
What do you have for heating/cooling equipment? I like the IAQ for high end system, and VisionPro for the rest.

Nothing fancy. Heat only system. Hot water fin-tube baseboard (3 zones), Burnham oil boiler and a WeilMcLain indirect. I've got plans for a system upgrade in the next 1-2 years so I didn't want to spend too much on the current setup. Got my eyes on a Buderus boiler with Logmatic or Tekmar controls.

Then go for it. Not sure what price range you been seeing on the FocusPro, but you can get one of a the retail level for about $70 at Home Depot. RTH6400 model.

Focus Pro does not beep. Some of the high end White-Rodgers beep though.
