I have a dilemma in our new home. There is a window above the stairwell (If you picture yourself going down the stairwell, the window is to the left.) that leads down into the garage. There is a window of the same size next to it in the living room. I need to hang curtains over this window, but we can't figure out what kind of ladder could be used safely on stairs. Any suggestions?

You need a multiposition ladder

You don't need to buy one, you will find these ladders for rent at Home Depot, Lowes, etc

I checked with Lowes and Home Depot here and in the surrounding area, but they didn't have any for rent.

I will check with some rental stores Monday, or maybe I can find someone who will let me borrow one.

Thank you for telling me about this type of ladder. I've never heard of one before.
