I was thinking of getting indoor/outdoor carpet for my basement. Have a few questions. Right now I have tiles which I would like to leave and just add the carpet over the existing floor. We have no dampness or water issues. A couple of the tiles are broken in spots but very few.

Never dealt with indoor/outdoor carpet. So would like to know what I should be looking for? What to stay away from and is it something I can do myself. I know the last question is tough without knowing my level of capabilities but I am somewhat handy
