I have an older shower that has the three knobs... cold, shower/tub, and hot.

Is there any retrofit kit to cover all three holes and just give me the one knob in the middle?

If you are asking can you convert a faucet of that design to a single knob design the answer is no.You would have to change the entire faucet to a single handle design faucet.

If you did so you'd be wise to actually patch the existing unused holes instead of trying to find a trim kit and just cover them over or similar idea.I don't know what's out there along those lines but leaving open holes in a shower wall is not a good idea no matter what you do.

Patching isn't an option as it would look terrible. This is the standard plastic one piece shower (no tub) so I would need to cover the two side holes if I did a single knob in the middle.

There is no faucet; just a showerhead.

Then I suggest you stay with a two handle assembly.I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of plug like parts that could be placed in the openings but that too would not look all that good.

Hi, You need a smitty plate they are stainless steel. They come in different styles it depends on what you take out and what you install. I have seen plumbers remove and install a new valve using a smitty plate to cover the hole. They look good and if done correctly don't leak.
Good Luck Woodbutcher

There ya go,figured there was something out there. That said still seems to me you'd be better off staying with the original type as the change really doesn't accomplish much.

Well instead of putting the hot all the way on and then adjusting the cold till the water is the right I can just turn one knob and be done! haha

Plus mine is quite old looking and I'd really like to update it.
