I am having trouble installing my new programmable thermostat. The picture in the intstalation guid shows 4 wires to connect. As far as I can tell, my current thermostat only has two wires coming out of the wall. I have an old honeywell thermostat withn the numbers T87F2873 3 8547 on the inside of it. Any suggestions?

Since Honeywell doesn't list a 2300 I assume you meant a RTH230B. Refer to figure 2.3.1 2-wire Heating
