I have a question about the Kinetico M60.
My wife and I purchase a house in the country with a well and it came with a Kinetico M60. The quality of the water is very good, the best water we have ever had.
It seems that the softener regenerates a lot with just the 2 of us living in the house. The meter disk is#6. Can someone please tell me what the number of the disk means?

The metering discs determine the volume of water used before switching tanks. There are eight total. #1 goes 360, #2 180, #4 90, etc. I normally like to keep units in the 3,4,5 range, but yours will work perfectly.
Do you have the water test results?
