Water Heaters - Hot water in the tank but none coming out of any faucets?

Hey yall,

i just replaced both elements and both thermostats after draining the 40 gal electric tank to clean out the sediments. I also replaced the pressure relief valve. Now there is hot water in the tank and the hot water pipe on top is hot as well but when i open any of the faucets no hot water comes out?? Any help is really appreciated!!!

Does any water come out, hot or cold? First suspect is the cold water shut off at the tank if no water at all.

Yes water does come out but its cold

Was your WH working before you did all of this? Were you getting hot water at the faucets?
