Ducting Systems and Air Ventilation - Intstall it while I have it apart???

I have a home built in the 1890's and am currently in the process of removing the original sidding and replacing with OSB and new siding. I was thinking while I was doing the wall behind the stove on the kitchin I could pre plumb ductwork for a future install of a vent hood. Couple of problems though, I have a complet wrap around open air porch and if it has to be vented to roof there isn't any access. Any suggestions are welcome. Appologies for any grammer or spelling errors, typing on iPhone.

Look at maybe going down seem hard but can be done in between studs unless you ona slab
