Actually, I should say inside the rear where it looks like grader., you can see the rear wall.
There are screws holding the rear of the unit. I can probably unscrew it but I don't think there is anyway to remove that thing since it is held by the fins or tumblers inside the dryer. That section is completely full of lint, blocking air flow (below is mine, it doesn't have much lint, but the clogged one is actually my tenant's dryer). Any suggestions are appreciated.

Pls give model#, Do not remove screws in drum I am guessing a Frigidaire type dryer, You have to take the drum out to clean give model # and will tell how to do it. Also you will need to clean vent to outside of house. That is why the lint built up in the first place.

UNPLUG DRYER FIRSTRemove 2 screws in top in back. Slide top back and lift off. Right front unplug 2 wiring harness. Inside front there are 4 or 6 screws that hold front and control panel on. Some of these you will have to take control panel off first. Look on sides make sure the screws are out. Front panel will pop off the clips you can see on the sides. Reach inside and take belt off tension er. look at how it is run first Use belt to lift drum off rear bearing. Drum ball sits in a U shaped slot and need to be lifted out of it. Lube plastic bearing before you reinstall drum.

Is there a service manual or something I can get? It sounds complicated.
I actually have extended service contract with PC Richard and Son, but I think they may reject it due to lint occumulation.

Sound more complicated than it is. Take me about 10 minutes to to take apart . If I feel slow that day.

OK. This is gas dryer, I assume I should disconnect/turn off the gas before doing this..
What kind of lube do you suggest?
