I am installing a new pilot system for a State water heater. This includes the ignitor line, pilot line, and thermocouple line. The length of the pilot line and thermocouple line are both about 6 inches too long. I know that I can just loop the thermocouple line with no problems, but what about the pilot line? Is that something that really should be shortened to the correct length or can I try and loop it?
