My toilet can rock side to side easily. The screw post on both sides have nuts that are screwed tight. Is it ok for it to move that easily. If not what could be the cause and any advice on how to fix it?Thank you

If the flange bolts are tight and the flange is not damaged, you can put shims under the toilet to keep it from rocking. If the space between the toilet base and the floor is excessive you might want to pull the toilet to see how the flange is positioned. It should be resting on the finished floor.
Use plastic for shims. I don't recommend wood because they'll eventually rot.

Good advice, but if the toilet is rocking I would pull the toilet and replace the wax seal, then shim.
