The washing machine decided it didn't want to drain and now I have a bunch of stale water in it. I suspect the pump (it whines for a while) or a clog and the errors with "LD".
I've visually inspected the drain hose and connection but haven't seen anything out of place. Not sure the best course of action. I've vaccummed out as much of the water as possible but there's still several gallons in there and I'd like to get it out before it gets stagnant.
Advice?
Thanks!

You have a calypso Washer, Just for info, To get rest of water out suck it out through the drain hose, Tilt washer back to wall so you can take off the bottom plate off. Look at water pump left rear, if pump has 2 spring clips holding it on you will need a new pump. If the pump body is round and held on by 4 screws you can take pump apart and clean it. If you need a new pump it will come with a motor and pump together. I would not put to much money into that washer, It has many problems.
There are two spring clips that hold top down, They are about 6 inches from side use a thin putty knife to push then in while lifting top. In front panel left side is plastic bag with the tech sheet for your machine. LD it I remember right is long drain.
here is alink to your washer

Look under pump and the pump will be there.

if the pump "whines" it could be the old style pump that has stripped out the splines on the input hole. you would have to get the new style pump is that is the case
